The Township of Holly does not provide garbage collection services to its residents.
The Village of Holly provides services to the Village residents through a special assessment per household. For additional information on your services please click here.
RECYCLING
You may recycle magazines, newspaper, office paper and junk mail, but we encourage you to use the Fund Raiser Bins at Sherman Middle School, Patterson Elementary and Holly Elementary.
Recycling for the Village of Holly is included with your garbage services.
Hazardous Waste can be disposed of at North Oakland Household Hazardous Waste Program events listed here.
2025 Spring and Fall Clean Up Dates – May 3, 2025 from 8am to 2pm with Document Shredding from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and October 4, 2025 from 8am to 2pm – No Document Shredding for Fall Clean Up at 4092 Grange Hall Rd. (Future Township Hall next to Subway)

ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN-UP

Clean-up days are provided for Holly Township residents to remove refuse from their properties. Residents are also encouraged to participate in the clean-up of Township roads.
Dumpsters and/or Garbage Trucks will be located in the parking lot. You must bring refuse to the dumpster and/or truck. THERE WILL BE NO ROADSIDE PICKUP, NO COMMERCIAL DUMPING, NO STUMPS, NO LEAVES, NO CONCRETE, AND NO ON- SITE SHOVELING ALLOWED. All barrels and fuel oil tanks must be open-ended. Paint cans must be empty or filled with sand or kitty litter.
Appliances, and scrap metal will be taken.
Tractor Tires $15.00, Large Truck Tires $12.00 and Car and Truck Tires $5.00
Document Shredding from 12:00 pm. to 2:00 pm.
You must be in line by 2 p.m.
Someone will be present to verify residency and/or property owners.
