Holly Township’s fire department is North Oakland County Fire Authority (N.O.C.F.A.).  which protects and serves the residents of Holly Township and Rose Township. They deliver a full range of fire and emergency services from 2 fire/medical stations: 24/7 fire suppression, rescue services, Hazmat Operations/Technical services and 1 Basic Life Support Ambulance and 2 Advanced Life Support Ambulance for medical transports.

The primary funding for N.O.C.F.A. is provided through contributions made by Holly and Rose Township. Holly Township funds its contribution through a special assessment of properties in the outer township outside of the Village limits.

All open burning in Holly Township, by ordinance,  requires a permit from NOCFA.

You are required obtain a permit to burn  and to call N.O.C.F.A. at 248-634-2620 to obtain a burn permit for the day.  Please click here for details.
