MICHIGAN GENERAL PROPERTY TAX ACT
2022 Township Tax Rates are as Follows:
Non-Homestead Rate- 48.3556 mills per $1,000 of Taxable Value plus 1% Administrative Fee. Homestead Rate- 30.3556 mills per $1,000 of Taxable Value. Additional Millage Rate for Village Properties is 11.6506 mills per $1,000 of Taxable Value plus 1% Administrative Fee and an additional $200.00 for Garbage Pick-up Services. Summer Taxes due and payable without penalty or interest July 1st through September 14th. 1% interest September 15-September 30th, plus 1% interest per month thereafter. 3% penalty after February 14th. Winter taxes are due before February 14th without penalty. A 3% penalty applied after February 14th.
Beginning March 1, 2023, all unpaid 2022 real estate property taxes become delinquent and must be paid to Robert Wittenberg, Oakland County Treasurer, 1200 N. Telegraph, Pontiac, MI 48431 with 4% county property tax administration fee and 1% interest per month until paid.

Dog Licenses
A Dog must be licensed at 4 months instead of 6 months!
Dog Licenses will be delinquent after June 1st. Licenses’ expire 5/31 of each year. The licenses are issued by the authority of Robert Wittenberg, Oakland County Treasurer.
Annual Fees: Spayed/Neutered – $15.00 *Senior Citizens Price – $14.00 Male/Female – $25.00 *Senior Citizens Price – $23.00 Annual Delinquent Licenses – $40.00
Three Year Fees: Spayed/Neutered – $40.00 *Senior Citizens Price – $37.00 Male/Female – $70.00 *Senior Citizens Price – $64.00
NOTE: Three Year Licenses must be concurrent with a Three Year Rabies Shot
Delinquent Three Year License – $55.00 *Senior Citizens Price – $52.00 Male/Female – $85.00 *Senior Citizens Price – $79.00
You must bring a proof of rabies shot for your dogs in order to purchase a license.

* Senior Citizen price for dog owners 65 years of age or older.(Must show proof)
